  8. BOBCAT - No matter what age or grade a boy joins Cub Scouting, he must earn his Bobcat badge. TIGER CUB - Five Achievements with three parts: Family Activity, Den Activity & Go See It!

  9. WOLF - 12 Achievements centered on the Scouts “Duty to God, Country, Family, and Self” BEAR - Need to complete 12 out of 24 achievements. WEBELOS - Activity badges in five areas: Physical Skills, Mental Skills, Community Involvement, Technology, and Outdoor

  10. PACK ORGANIZATION Part of the FAMILY of Scouting

  11. FINANCE • Registration Fee • Dues / Uniform • Pack Money Earning Projects: Pecatonica River Popcorn Sale • “Friends of Scouting”

TRAINING Every youth member deserves a trained leader! • Youth Protection (online) – mandatory for each new leader when registering as an adult leader with the BSA • Fast Start (online) • This is Scouting (online) • Leader Specific Training – available online and in classroom format • Online training is at www.MyScouting.org All unit leaders must be by October 15th!

SUPPORTING LEADERS • Scouting Magazine is included as part of your registration (includes program helps) • Monthly Roundtable Meetings: tenured Cub Scout leaders share their experience on running a quality program & pack • Cub Scout College (annual November supplemental training) • Den Meeting Lesson Plans – available at www.scouting.org • Current leaders in our pack mentor new leaders
