Carroll County Health Department
Only 41% of Carroll County adults engage in regular, moderate physical activity.
More than 58% of CarrollCounty adults are overweight or obese.
Less than 1/3 of Carroll high school students take a Physical Education class.
Carroll County is #4 in Maryland in percentage of obese adults.
Research shows: More time spent on family and health = A happier, healthier life.
More active & better nutrition = less chance of chronic illness… • For example: • - Diabetes • Heart Disease • Certain Cancers • - Stroke
