Home Networks • Development driven by: • Generalisation of Broadband Access • 450m home connected by 2010 (FTTH, ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL) • Data / TV / Telephony • Multiplication of connected devices • HDMI interfaces on HD Flat screens/Camcorders/DVD players and recorders • Bluetooth / WiFi / USB interfaces on phone handsets, gateways, TV sets etc… • GbE interfaces on Home Servers ( > 300 Gbyte storage) and gateways • WiMAX, Viiv, HANA (IEEE1394) etc…
