Slow Tempi • Largo - A very slow tempo • Lento – also a very slow tempo
Medium Tempi • Andante – a slower, walking tempo • Moderato – slower than Allegro but faster than Andante • Allegretto – slightly slower than Allegro
Fast Tempi • Allegro – a fast tempo • Presto – a very fast tempo • Prestissimo – as fast as possible
