  1. Unbalanced & Balanced Forces Newton’s Laws

  2. What is an unbalanced force?

  3. When 2 forces act in the same direction, the net force is the sum of the two individual forces. Unbalanced Forces in the same direction.

  4. When two forces act in opposite directions, the net force is the difference between the two individual forces. Unbalanced Forces in the Opposite Direction

  5. When 2 equal forces act in opposite directions, they cancel each other out. http://www.nbclearn.com/nfl/cuecard/50770 Balanced Forces in Opposite Directions

  6. The first law says that an object at rest tends to stay at rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion, with the same direction and speed. • http://www.nbclearn.com/nfl/cuecard/50770 Newton’s 1st Law of Motion

  7. The second law shows that if you exert the same force on two objects of different mass, you will get different accelerations (changes in motion). http://www.nbclearn.com/nfl/cuecard/50770 Newton’s 2nd Law of Motion

  8. The third law says that for every action (force) there is an equal and opposite reaction (force). • http://www.nbclearn.com/nfl/cuecard/50770 Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion

  9. What might be the difference between the motions of the truck and the egg? Conclusion
