Power in Government • Democratic Republicans – States are closer to the people and can make better decisions • Federalists – Federal Gov. can make laws to help the country grow and succeed
Leadership • Federalists – Country is complicated, leave it to educated experts • Democratic Republicans – Common people know their needs, leave it to the voters
