  6. What are the Pros? EPA estimated 45-60 MPG No need to plug in to recharge Some states give tax incentives to buy

  7. What are the Cons? • Cost several thousand more • Batteries are 3-4,000$ to replace • Lacks Power and performance

  8. What is a Diesel? • Does not have spark plugs • Usually Turbo Charged • Relies on heat and compression for combustion

  9. What are the Pros? • Diesel Fuel has more “Potential Energy” • Diesel engines last 3-4 times longer • Burns much cleaner

  10. What are the Cons? • Fuel costs 30-40 cents more • Requires more routine maintenance • Requires use of DEF (diesel exhaust fluid)
