  3. Results Table 1. Baseline characteristics of patients • 116/138 (84%) of patients referred to CCC completed 4-week f/u • No significant differences seen for patients who completed nPEP • One patient sero-converted after initiating nPEP 32 hours post exposure

  4. Conclusions • nPEP is a chemo-prophylaxis intervention that can prevent HIV acquisition and transmission and provides additional opportunities for synergistic biological and behavioral interventions. • A multi-disciplinary approach is necessary to coordinate care, follow-up, and supportive counseling leading to successful linkage to care and completion of 28-day nPEP.
