Strangewinter • This year`s winter is very strange. First winterwastoowarm. Then followed a week of severe cold. Again the sun and high temperatures. In the meantime some rain, mist and gray sky. • Finally snow, which was nice only a day or two- until it turned into icy horror.
The worst devastation in living memory • Snow and ice has paralyzed Slovenia, bringing down trees and electricity pylons, cutting power from our homes and causing millions of euros of damage.

6th December St. Nicholas • The holiday season begins with the feast of St. Nicholas on December 6th. • He comes down from heaven. With him come the angels and the devils. He brings toys, fruit, sweets… or stick.
