  3. New in CONNECT 3.X Architecture in 2010: • CONNECT Gateway • New Services as defined by the NHIN • CONNECT Enterprise Service Platform • Focus on standardizing interfaces for ESC Plug-ins • Enhancing Adapter Toolkit • CONNECT Universal Client Framework • CONNECT UCF Work Bench HIMSS 2010

  4. CONNECT Direct:A CONNECT 3.X Release CONNECT Direct is a CONNECT 3.X release in 2010: • Implements the evolving standards from the NHIN Direct Prototype Effort • Built using the CONNECT Workbench • Extensible, modular, configurable HIMSS 2010
