INSTRUCTIONSfor the Dinner Loop Powerpoint Provide 4 slides with images or your choice to be projected during the awards dinner as a continuous loop. Individual slides are up for 5-6 seconds. Use the font style, size, color and location (justified right to align with guides) already in the template slides Guides and AIASA Logo are part of the slide master. Turn on the guides and make sure that the text is in the exact same place. You don’t want it to jump around when the photo changes. Use the guides to align the images depending on the proportions of the image per the examples below. Studio Awards projects add the “Studio Awards” as shown on the example below. Add one blank slide in front of your four image slides. Single image slides are preferred (remember this is shown on a continuous loop at the dinner so the slide is only up for a few seconds) If you want to have multiple images see the example included below for reference.
Tips The Architect’s Name is Above and Bolder than the Project name – that’s not a mistake. Make sure and use the template font, size and color (Arial, 18pt, Italicized). We may adjust the slides but we don’t want to type in the name. Do not put “inc” or “LLC” after your name. The other architects in town couldn’t care less what your legal name is. Use your brand name the way it would be used when people talk about your work. We know you’re architects. Unless it’s critical, don’t put Architects after your firm name either. Some institutional jobs have long names. You may stretch the text box as required. If a name is just too long to fit in one line at the specified font size you may decrease the font size. Campus name should be “Such and such building, Such and such campus”. Example: “School of Marine Life, University of Delaware” Review your slides in full screen format to ensure that the title doesn’t jump around and that it looks good to you.
