Integration Statements Form • Express conformance as Integration Profile/Actor/Options • Refer to conformance statements for HL7, DICOM and other standards as relevant • Don’t add other marketing information • Link multiple statements on an index page with conformance statements • Don’t bury behind pages of marketing claims HIMSS 2003

  6. What Integration Statements Do • Purchasers can use to collect information about products from vendors • Vendors can communicate product capabilities consistently • Vendors and users get general education about integration capabilities/IHE HIMSS 2003

  11. Why publish Connectathon outcomes? • Publicize the event to users/industry • Maintain a record of participation • Give recognition to successful participants • Incentive for participation and performance HIMSS 2003
