Also, an error message displays on the screen which says “A problem has taken place in the script of this page”. This error is called QuickBooks Script Error. Here we have provided the primary reasons due to which this error occurs. • Script error occurs when the user try to import a dealing with an account which does not exists.

  3. Solutions for fixing QuickBooks Script Error There are different solutions for different cases. Here are the two most important cases. Case 1: In case the error occurs at the time of exporting • Users must have a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer for executing these steps. • At first, clear all the cookies and cache. Follow the steps mentioned below for doing the same: • At the right corner in Internet Explorer, Click on Tools button. • Choose Safety and then click on Delete browsing history option. • Mark Cookies and website data check box and then click on Delete. • Now close IE & then open it again. • Login to QBO and start exporting the files.

Hidden menu options will show up on your screen. • Click on Internet Options. • Then click on the Advanced tab. • Clear Display a notification about every script error. • At last, click on OK.
