About Paul Hyman Paul George Hyman, Jr. is a judge for the US bankruptcy court, Southern District of Florida. He was previously Chief Judge. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in economics, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Judge Hyman started his legal career as a attorney practicing commercial litigation, and then as an Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. He then began representing creditors, trustees, and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings, and built a successful bankruptcy practice. The couple Kelly Hyman and Paul Hyman are happily married and both are flourishing in their careers. Paul Hyman was married to Attorney Judy Hyman, but she passed away in 2010. They have two children together, twins Zachary and Kaylee. He later married Kelly Hyman.
