Exam: written, 2h, you can bring 2 double sided A4 cheat sheet, details will be given later during the course Material will be posted online look for “DVT Ilmenau” password for last year was “ITC2013” this year password: “ITC2014” Books suggestions etc. -> an email will be sent to the MSCSP reflector
Key Facts on the Course On which material to study? lecture notes (i.e., what you write down during the lecture and slides from the course homepage). But please, also use other sources! several books on the topic corsera MIT courses youtube, wikipedia (but please make sure that the person teaching knows what he is talking about) Synchronization between lectures and exercises: we do our best to keep the two things synchronized, however, at times theory is taught on Wed. and exercises are carried out on Friday. Questions and help from the faculty members: feel free to ask for help. Start first asking directly after the lecture/exercise, if necessary, agree for an appointment at our offices.
