Standard AV and Technology • Projection screen and projector • One standing lectern with microphone • One wired lavaliere microphone with 25’cord • Sound patch for computer audio • For panel discussions of 4-6 speakers: add 2 table microphones
Computers – Bring your own! • Computers in meeting rooms will NOT be provided. • Please bring your own computer and make sure it is equipped with a standard VGA output and that you know how to use a projector with it before arriving. • Mac users must be sure to bring their own laptop-to-VGA connectors!
Internet Access • One dedicated Ethernet connection • Wireless access also available • Require a great deal of bandwidth? (your attendees participating in Second Life, etc.) • Contact Leslie DeGrassildegrassi@educause.edu
Conveners Conveners will: • introduce the speaker(s) • announce the online session evaluations • ensure that the session ends on time • summon technology assistance if needed • Final message on January 30 will tell you whether you either: • Have a volunteer convener • You will self-convene
Session Evaluations • Attendees WILL evaluate your session online, onsite or later, through a link on your session’s web page • Evaluation summaries will be sent to each speaker about a month after the conference

POSTER SESSIONSSession Logistics • Standard set: 6-foot skirted table and power Strip • Wireless Internet • 2 poster boards, 2 easels, and a high table will be at your station • Tables are pre-assigned • Don’t leave valuables unattended! • Set-up and tear-down instructions to be sent by e-mail
POSTER SESSIONS Tips for Your Session • Prepare brief remarks. • Create a handout and/or upload a digital copy to the conference website • Keep it simple. Keep your poster simple, uncluttered, and readable from five feet away. • Consider using a laptop to demo any digital tools or explore any websites.
