  1. Why is the church important for the family and family important for the church? Positive & Godly Influence

  2. First Responsibility “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”(2 Cor 1:3-4)

  3. Allowing God to Reach In so We Can Reach Out! And let us…not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.(Heb 10:24-25)

  4. Second Responsibility “I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord. But, join with me in suffering for the Gospel.”(2 Tim 1:6, 8)

  5. Coming alongside the next generation to help them discover and use their gifts for the glory of God. Work together to spur one another on towards love and good deeds so that every generationwill reach their fullest potential in Christ. (Heb 10:24-25; Eph 4:13)

  6. ThirdResponsibility “As night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.” (2 Tim 1:3) “Far be it from me to sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you!” (1 Sam 12:23a)

  7. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! AMEN.” (Eph 3:20-21)
