Welcome to the 8th grade! We have many things to look forward to this year as we learn together, pray together, and have fun together. Let’s make it a great year! -Ms. Schoen
Religion • Prayer • Salvation History • The Creed • Ten Commandments • Sacraments • Theology of the Body • Vocations • Beatitudes • Mysteries of the Rosary • Virtues and Saints CONFIRMATION: • Confirmation class two days a week • NET retreat
Math • Beginning of each class • Move at individual pace • Ms. Schoen checks completed pages before moving on
Math • Learn skill in each lesson • Practice problems in notebook • Homework problems in workbook
Algebra I will meet with students daily during the 8th grade Math class, during Study Hall on Monday and Friday, as well as after school on Mondays. **Please see the pink form in your folders for more information and the permission form.**
Expressions - Grammar/Writing • Monday-Thursday • Homework practice in practice book
Expressions - Vocabulary • Wednesday • New chapter/test every 3 weeks
Expressions - Simple Solutions • Friday • Move at individual pace • Ms. Schoen checks completed pages before moving on
Expressions - Spelling Students will take a spelling test and receive a new spelling list every Friday.
