National—GOP Presidential Debate. Tonight at 7 p.m., Anderson Cooper will host the GOP presidential debate on CNN at the Venetian Hotel-Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, will not participate in the debate, but the other leaders will.

National—GOP Presidential Debate • Tonight at 7 p.m., Anderson Cooper will host the GOP presidential debate on CNN at the Venetian Hotel-Casino Resort in Las Vegas. • Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, will not participate in the debate, but the other leaders will. • Herman Cain has been making headlines lately with his proposed 9-9-9 tax plan.

National—IndyCar Driver dies Sat. • Reigning Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon died in a fiery crash in Las Vegas on Sunday. • He was killed on the 11th lap of the Honda Indy 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday • He left behind a wife, and 2 sons (2 yr. & 6thmos) • Wheldon had won 16 races in the IndyCar Series

National—Kudzu-eating Bugs? • The plant that has over-taken the South has now met its match, the Kudzu-eating Bug. • The problem is, the bug also likes another East Asian transplant that happens to be something useful, the soybean. • This bug was found near Atlanta in October 2009. • Kudzu and soybeans are both legumes. And the bugs are outliving the insecticides that are meant to kill the bug.
