1 ampere = 1 coulomb of charge a second • Using this information some stoichiometry can be done
Water (the exception to everything) • Needs a salt to be added for electrolysis due to so few ions in the water (hard for a current to pass through) • It takes more voltage to oxidize water, this is called overvoltage. • It is hard to say where it comes from, some difficulties transferring electrons, scientists think.
