Introduction Trail Africa is a marketing & reservation based company situated in Johannesburg established to assist lodges and travel service suppliers with marketing their product to local and international travel operators. The Trail Africa team aim to provide an affordable service for those that require assistance with marketing and rate distribution to agencies based around South Africa as well as operators situated abroad Trail Africa assists and works closely with the smaller lodges within Southern Africa acting as a communications office between the owners and their operations on premises and clients looking for information and reservations – The ideal solution for those that are out of reach & often don’t have access to telephone lines & have problems with internet connections

Trail Africa Marketing is a team of people that are extremely passionate about Southern Africa and the incredible destinations that our country has to offer the local and international FIT traveller After working in the safari and travel industry for over 8 years for various travel agencies and tour operators we have noticed that there is an extreme lack of representation for the smaller lodges & activity operators within Southern Africa Trail Africa aims to provide its clients with unique hospitality support services addressing the individual sales and marketing needs of a selection accommodation establishments in various regions of South Africa. Individualism remains our focus and the service provided is tailor-made to our clients needs

  4. Services Trail Africa offers our clients 2 package options Each package is designed to assist our clients with their particular marketing requirements Each option is designed to suite our clients particular budget

Package Option One: Dedicated representative to visit Tour Operators based in Johannesburg and Pretoria with bi-annual visits to Natal and Cape Town to sell your lodge & promote activities Assistance with developing a new website and weekly updates on website Assistance with design and manufacture of promotional material including printed brochures, business cards,  presentations and any other marketing material required Representation at Trade Shows including Johannesburg Getaway, Cape Getaway & Travel Indaba Dedicated weekly internet marketing to local and international travel agents and tour operators Assistance with developing and distributing STO / Rack rates Trail Africa office acting as central reservations – Our team will field all calls regarding availability as well as bookings sending you daily updates of bookings received and follow up on payments for bookings (Payments will be made directly into lodges account)

Package Option Two: Please note that costs for materials, designing, shows and manufacture are not included in our monthly .We receive large discounted rates when sending through bulk orders to suppliers and will advise on the best options for your company regarding marketing material. With regards to trade shows all lodges under the Trail Africa Marketing portfolio share and divide the costs of travel, stand & display costs.
