  4. Si Clauses + Present • Si Clauses are used when the condition has a possibility of being executed. • Present+PresentSi tuveux, ilpeutvenir chez moi. • Present+ImperativeDonne-le-moi, situpeux. • Present+FutureSi vousterminezaujourd’hui, queferezvous demain.

  5. Si clause + Imparfait

  6. The Si-clause in the imperfect is different from that of the present. Instead of proposing a possibility if something occurring, it suggests the impossibilities in the result clause. Whenever the si-clause consists of the imperfect the result-clause will be in the present conditional. Imperfect+ conditional present Si vousétudiiez, vousréussiriezaux examens.   8. Si Clause+Plus-que-parfait • The Si-clause with Plus-Que-Parfait results in the past conditional and, unlike the imperfect, it states the possibilities in the past. • Plus-que-parfait + Past Conditional Qu’est-cequevousauriez faitsivousaviezeu un million de dollar?

  9. Quand : Usage • Quand similar to the Si-clause differs in that it uses the Future Antérieur to express an action in the future that precedes another future action. • Quand je seraiarrivée a Paris je voustéléphonerai.
