  1. Lego Champ Adam M. 8 years old Mississippi, USA

  2. step 1 – Think It It is difficult to find small Lego pieces at the bottom of a Lego box full of Legos. I will make a Lego case that has little holes at the bottom of the Lego box that you can slide open and get a random Lego. For example, I found a Lego that I want to build with at the bottom of the box.

  3. Step 2 – Explore It A person made a case that can fold up, and it can hold up to 400 pieces. Another person made a case that stores the Lego pieces by color.

  4. Documentation of Sources My sources are Amazon.com to find that it doesn’t exist online, and I looked at Wal-Mart, Target and at Toys R Us.

  5. Step 3– Sketch It

  6. Step 4– Create It I was marking where the holes at the bottom of the container needed to be cut out for the small Legos to fall through.

  7. I am taping the sorter with the holes to the case.

  8. I am looking for small Legos for my prototype.

  9. I am taping the other side of the case.

  10. I am testing if the drawer slides well.

  11. Step 5– Try It The first time I tried, it worked because we made the holes the exact size for the Legos. Sometimes the Legos fall behind the drawer. When that happens, the drawer has to be taken out, and the Legos can be dumped out of the drawer compartment.

  12. Step 6 – Tweak It I don’t need to tweak it because we made sure it was working well.

  13. Step 7 – Sell It
