  2. Location The location of a business is important as it affects the costs, image and revenue. When searching for a location, the best thing to look for in an ideal location could be one that maximises revenue and minimises costs. The main problems with choosing a cheap location could lead to low sales unless they were selling over the internet, this would mean that the customers would not have to see the cheap location. The factors that managers of a growing business consider when choosing a location is the cost of the site and labour costs.

  3. Examples of Location Supermarket – When choosing a location for a super market you need to consider accessibility of the surroundings for example a near by bus stop and car park. They would need land that was cheap and not next to a motorway but about 1 mile or 2 away. Hairdressers – When choosing a location for a hairdressers you can place one in a main street as it will attract customers that live near by where as you wouldn't place a hairdressers on the side of a motorway as it wouldn't attract customers and would be expensive. Garage – When choosing a location for a garage you would place one in a spacious area so that the wagon full of fuel can get in and out. It would also need to be next to a road for easy access for vehicles. Car Manufacturer - When choosing a location for a car manufacturer you would place it next to a town center to attract customers. It would have to be in a spacious area to give room to fix the vehicles.
