They arrived here during the time when William Penn was promoting religious and cultural freedom. • The village I live in: Bowmansville

  3. Likes and dislikes • Likes: there are a lot of trees where I live, there is a creek and there is a pond, and big fields. • Dislikes: in my development there are houses being built so there is a lot of noise, and sometimes there is trash by the creek and graffiti sometimes written on the bridge.

  4. Weather patterns • In the winter the average low is 21 degrees Fahrenheit, and the average high is about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. • In the fall, the average high is about 67 degrees Fahrenheit, and the average low is about 53 degrees Fahrenheit. • In the spring, the average high is about 72 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. • In the summer, the average high is about 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low is about 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

  5. The environment • 3 native birds: bald eagle, hawk, blue heron • 3 native mammals: white tailed deer, black bear, cottontail rabbit • 5 native plants: American ash, eastern hemlock, Carolina willow, white oak, American holly

  6. Home Life • The water in my home comes from a well. • We have “public sewage” and the sewage goes to Brecknock Township sewage plant. When it goes to he sewage plant, it gets filtered out. • Our recycling and our trash gets picked up by Goods recycling truck. The trash goes to the garbage dumb after it gets picked up. • We reside in the Chesapeake water shed and it feeds into the Chesapeake bay.

  7. Habitats • Three habitats around our home is the woods, the creek, and a field. • We put out bird feed for the birds

  8. food • 5 favorite foods: spaghetti, cheeseburger, strawberries, tacos, red beets • spaghetti comes from wheat and originates from Italy. • Cheeseburgers come from cows. • Strawberries grow I the ground from seeds. • Taco meat come from cows. • Red beets grow in the ground.

  9. environmentally friendly/not friendly • Some environmentally friendly things I do are : recycling, I usually don’t have a lot of trash, • Some not so very environmentally friendly things I do: I leave the TV on a lot when I leave the room, I use a lot of running water, • What I can do to change the not environmentally friendly things I have a habit of doing, is try to turn off the TV when leaving a room, turn off the running water when I brush my teeth,
