  2. Non-Conformities • Interface to INJECTION_PERMIT LoopA to be checked. BIS frequency incorrectly detected by FIB. Seem to be an optical problem between CIBDG and FIB —> RB + TE/MPE=> SOLVED. Problem was a bad optical connection at the BIC level. • Arming sequence LBDS2 to be checked. Recurrent failure during execution of arming sequence resulting in an asynchronous dump issued by the CIBDS. Expert acknowledge required after this type of failure —> NM + BE/OP=> ONGOING. Suspicion of SIS interlock due to a bad CIBDS status reading ? • Failure of MKE4 M1/C1 heater crate. Recurrent trip of differential protection. Reason unclear. Heater crate to be replaced in order to checked ageing effect on filtering capacitors —> NV + RB=> ONGOING. Heater crate changed. Electrical connections cleaned. Change of switch in discussion… • Failure of MKI 3kV/800mA power supply. Spare successfully tested in 04/2014 not working anymore (returned from repair in 11/2013). Second spare OK. Consolidation to be launched ASAP —> RB + EC=> ONGOING… Two broken power supplies sent back to Germany. Request to advance consolidation by one year. • Automatic go out of SoftStart process when the SoftStart doesn’t terminate successfully —> NM + EC=> ONGOING. New FESA3 v2 class will be deployed this week.

  3. Reconfiguration • Unlock TCDQ Beam2 —> CB=> DONE. • Reconfigure MKI2 & MKI8 FIBs. Reconnect AGK (to be confirmed) and BETS FIBs in MKI2 & MKI8 —> RB + NV=> NOT DONE, FIBs and AGK will remain bypassed for machine restart with Beam.

  4. Ongoing software/hardware commissioning • IQC. Missing MKI IPOC data —> NM + BE/CO + BE/OP=> ? Problems with IPOC solved during the W-E... • XPOC. Recurrent missing data —> NM + BE/CO?=> ONGOING. Long delay in data transmission.CO and MPE investigating.New release of IPOC should help (waveforms sent earlier) • MSI/TDI BETS. Deploy monitoring software —> NM + NV=> ONGOING. New FESA3 v2 software will be deployed this week. • WinCC. Creation alarms for arming sequence —> AA + FSU=> ONGOING…

  5. Measurements to perform • MKIs trigger synchro, after MKI rise time scan. • LBDSs trigger synchro, after MKD rise time scan. • Big RF phase difference wrt LHC Run 1 seen between BRF/Bunch 1 at P6 and Prepulse/Bunch 1 in P2 and P8 (> 14 us ?)=> ONGOING. Waiting confirmation from RF that phase is OK and fixed for LHC Run 2.
