Global Publication Profiles: Books as an Expression of Cultural Diversity

This publication profiles project aims to analyze cultural diversity in books by examining country of publication, year of publication, language use, and translation data. The project has extracted data from WorldCat’s monographic records and has conducted pre-tests and profiles of book publishing in select countries. The project aims to refine the data extraction process and expand to include more countries.
