2. Claim In order to decrease the cases of antibiotic resistant bacteria (like wound infections and childhood ear infections), we are going to keep our hospitals squeaky clean. For the next 5 years, we are going to use our billion dollars to better sanitize our hospital to lessen the risk of catching an antibiotic resistant bacteria.

4. Facts Due to an increasing use, and misuse, of existing antibiotics in human medicine, our bodies are becoming immune to the drugs that are supposed to cure us

Having that Less invasive procedure will cause less infection, rather then cutting open the whole knee and having a full on Knee replacement. This will require expensive equipment and other hard procedures.

Options There are mutiple joint replacements that you can choose from. •Total knee replacement •Partial knee replacement •Total hip replacement •Anterior hip replacement For our hospitals to reduce infections and other diseases we will give the option of partial and anterior hip and knee replacement. They will have the 2 options but we will consider the less procedure to prevent the most likely of getting infections.

8. Spinal Surgery With the advent of minimally invasive surgery , your spine surgeon can now perform many neck and back procedures with small incisions (less than 1 inch) and a microscope. By working around the muscles, those tissues aren't cut. We would encourage that because there will be less tissue trauma, lower complications rates, less infections risk, and less pain and an easier, faster recovery

Disease causing microbes that have become resistant to antibiotic drug therapy are an increasing public heath program.

11. Facts Wound infections, gonorrhea, tuberculosis, pneumonia, septicemia and childhood ear infections are just a few diseases that have become hard to treat with antibiotics.

15. Machines The image on the left is of an Autoclave. This machine cleans the tools that the doctors use so that there is almost zero chance of any bacteria to withstand. Having a surplus of these around the hospital can only be a good thing.
