  1. Studio Art I,II, & ADV HW #3 • It is time to draw faces. • Introducing, The Beatles • Pay attention to alignment and focus on shapes and line, value will come later.

Skull – starts off egg shaped, add angles later • Draw two lines of axis through the mid • point of the Skull horizontally and vertically • Eyes – half way between crown and chin (the • skull is five eyes wide) • Nose – half way between chin and eyes • and the width of one eye • Mouth – half way between nose and chin, as • wide as the center of the eyes • Ears – top lines up with center of eyes, lobe • lines up with nose. Hair – rises above the skull, full and fluffy, • unless balding • Neck – starts at ears and slowly angles • outward for shoulders (like the angle • of a clothes hanger)
