Exercise You are part of the task force for the Joint local transport plan in West Yorkshire You are bidding for national level funding You have to produce a coherent package of measures to solve accessibility issues of the employment centres in the County
Integration at measures level: now it is your turn! • Split up in groups of 4. • You receive a stack of cards. Each card represents a concrete measure and a number of credits. • Build logical packages with a given maximum of 15 credits. • Two groups will be asked to present your proposal to the plenary as example. • In your presentation: please describe the integrational effects: • Increased effects on the achievement of traffic related objectives • Compensate ‘losers’ (fairness, limit ‘welfare loss’), thus add to public acceptability • Financial interdependence • Practical and technical synergies • Dependent on ‘negotiability’ (e.g. Short term, visible measures)
