There are adults at my school I could turn to for help with problems.
If I tell an adult I am being bullied, they will do something about it.
Adults make it clear that bullying is not tolerated at my school.
Students at school use social networking sites to “bash” one another.
Summary • The results of the Climate Survey were over-all positive, yet give us areas we can target for improvement. • The implementation of bullying prevention training with our staff should increase the overall awareness and decrease tolerance among students for bullying. • We are pleased that more than 93% of our secondary students feel their school is a good place for learning.
What’s Next? • Review results with principals and ask them to review results with staff • Review results with CGPD • Implement Bullying Prevention Programs/Policy and train staff • Re-administer the survey at the end of the year to compare results/progress
