What is the Mission ? To educate aspiring leaders and support their growth through leadership training and community education so that they may serve as catalysts for change in the Greater New Haven community.
When are sessions held? We meet one day per month: Orientation: Wed & Thurs, September 25 & 26, 2013 Wednesday, October 23, 2013 Thursday, November 21, 2013 (@ GNHCC’s Business Expo) Wednesday, December 11, 2013 Wednesday, January 15, 2014 Wednesday, February 12, 2014 Session Time: 8:30-4:30 p.m. Graduation: Wednesday, March 12 (evening event)

What can I expect in a typical session? • Each session includes a variety of guest speakers and topics. Some are lecture style and others are a hands on workshop. The goal is to bring you a variety of speakers and topics to enhance your leadership skills. • We begin with coffee and networking along with lunch and breaks throughout the day. • At each session there will be time allotted to meet with your community service project team.
Community Service Projects • Each participant is required to work on a Community Service project, which includes approximately 20 hours outside of the program days in addition to time spent during each session. • Several non-profits will present their project ideas at Orientation. • Small teams are formed based upon interest.

Leadership Alumni • Upon graduation of Leadership Greater New Haven you will join the ranks of over 700 alumni • Throughout the year we offer Alumni reunions and events for you to continue networking and meeting other alumni • Alumni are encouraged to be Ambassadors of the program by recommending future participants
What is the tuition? • Tuition is based upon the size of the organization you work for. • $3,300 – for Businesses with more than 100 employees • $1,500 – for Businesses with less than 30 employees: including municipalities, colleges, universities and non-profit agencies • Non-profit organizations – there are a limited number of scholarship funds available. Please request a scholarship application for consideration.
