CLPL workshop New courses being offered in 2019-2020 • Standardised sessions, 2-4pm, colleagues attend all 4 sessions between October and March • Opt-in from colleagues and HTs (based on centre priorities and limited by cover constraints) • High-quality learning opportunities using expertise and resources from across the collaborative • Expectation that those attending will share learning – building leadership capacity
CLPL workshop New courses being offered in 2019-2020 • Practitioner Enquiry • Colleagues experienced in supporting practitioner enquiry and Education Scotland • Continuation of putting Masters level training into practice for facilitators • Relevant QI’s: 1.1, 1.2, 2.3 and 3.2 • Additional Support Needs • Ed. Psych. Team and ASN Service Managers • First 2 sessions identify the gaps / strengths; next 2 sessions agree and implement a plan moving forward • Relevant QI’s: 1.1, 2.3, 2.4, 2.7, 3.1 and 3.2
CLPL workshop New courses being offered in 2019-2020 • Formative Assessment • Colleagues experienced in leading formative assessment • Using resources backed by significant and repeatedly tested evidence of impact • Relevant QI’s: 1.1, 2.3 and 3.2 • Data Literacy, Tracking & Monitoring • Regional Performance Officer, Data Coaches and team • Using tracking tools which allow rigorous analysis of data that leads to strategic decisions • Relevant QI’s: 1.1, 2.3, 2.6 and 3.2

CLPL workshop Timeline May 2019 – finalise facilitators (we want your input) June 2019 – publicise brochure with all staff (after Secondary HTs meeting 4 June); planning event with facilitators (19 June, Howden Park) August 2019 – final planning and any loose ends tied up; attendee lists finalised March 2020 – session evaluations complete, begin planning for 2020-2021 offer
CLPL workshop • How can you support us? • Follow us on twitter! • Suggest colleagues who would make strong facilitators • Give us your views on what our offer for session 2020-2021 should look like • Publicise these opportunities widely at your school • Consider which sessions your school would benefit from and encourage colleagues to sign up • Work collaboratively (there will be limits on numbers able to attend the sessions) • Present attendees with a platform to share their learning after the sessions are completed
