First Reason Every time we talk about someone else in a negative light, we are actually talking about one of God’s children Proverbs 18:8 & 26:22 “The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.” The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly (KJV) • Hebrew wordלָהַם[ lâham ] • Its common meaning embraces all these words • Burn; Desire; Greed; Thirst There's something disgustingly enjoyable about participating in the destructive sin of gossip
