  2. Module mounting structures is hot dip galvanized to prevent corrosion and eventually it saves installation time and labor cost. It is specially developed for use with framed photo voltaic modules. This method is common all over the world. Modules are inserted and locked into the system using special aluminium profiles. Module mounting systems has three components- mounting structure, clamps-screws for fixing and Photo voltaic module. This system consists of stable galvanized frame mounted on a number of brackets or roof fixed directly to the roof structure.Verticle profiles are fastened to these brackets and horizontal section profiles are spaced and fastened with mounting screws.

  3. Module mounting structures is of various types: Fixed modules (either single module or multiple modules) are   mounted on a pole, a roof, free standing on a ground or integrated into a building. Fixed mounting structure tilt the modules at a fixed angle. The fixed mounting should be steady, flat and well ventilated. They should be sturdy enough to withstand heavy rainfall and windfall. Flexible modules use same module mounting structures but the mountings are different. Tracking structure is more expensive and requires extensive maintenance.  Modules that are mounted on a pole are easy to install and can be easily exposed to the sunlight. For roof mounting the most regular support structure consists of racks. It is important to leave a 10 cm space between the roof and the array for ventilation. Free-standing arrays on a ground support, usually consisting of racks, are easy to install and to adjust towards the Sunlight. Building-integrated Photo Voltaic arrays consist of thin film modules.
