He's hosting an inter-college creative writing event at Sd College, Sector 32C, Chandigarh on Wednesday 21st August 2019. The main idea is to promote the art of creative writing amongst today's youth and introduce them to a new career path. Kunal Bansal Chandigarh wants to give students a way to express themselves. He says, "I write because it makes me happy. It gives me a sense of relief when I write about something and I love to write about my adventures to different places in the world. Writing is an underrated career option and I have the vision to change that". The event will have the mayor on Chandigarh as the chief guest who will kick start the event with a few words of wisdom. Kunal Bansal will then share his story on how he came across his passion for writing and traveling. The competition will provide students free will to write about any topic they like. The students will be given two hours to write an article of 1000 words. Each contestant will submit their work and the judges will be Kunal Bansal Chandigarh, Mr. Mayor, and the English Language Professor at SD College. The winner will be decided on various factors in the field of creative writing and all the participants will be awarded with a certificate of participation.
