CERN-UA Exhibitions in Ukraine in 2017-2018

This article provides an overview of the recent CERN Exhibition "CERN in Images" in Ukraine, including the inauguration, open lectures, and the publication of the first bulletin "iCERN". It also discusses the upcoming CERN Exhibition "Science of Accelerators" and the possibility of donating LHC detector parts to the New Museum of Science in Ukraine.

Hrynevich; former CERN DG R.-D. Heuer, Advisor to CERN DG C. Schaefer •  Regional branches of the Minor Academy of Science • Open Lectures by: •  R.-D. Heuer (KyivPolytechnicUniversity) •  C. Schaefer (Minor Academy of Science) • Publication of the 1st Bulletin « iCERN » to beupdated on a regular basis • One School for Ukrainianteachers has been organized at CERN • Large CERN Exhibition « Science of Accelerators  » will come to Ukraine • from 15.09.2018 to 15.01.2019 • A possibillity of donation of parts of (dismounted) LHC detectors • to the New Museum of Science of Ukraine isunder discussion Info from Y.
