“But they ‘laid aside’ their contributions ‘at home’” (1 Co.16) • If at home, why store it on Sunday? • Even if at home, “the money set aside was brought on that day to the church when it assembled for worship”(ZPEB 3, 964) • Keeping their money at home would defeat Paul’s purpose (2)
