Researcher Harry Coumnas Found a Mummified Monk in a Cave in the Himalayas
Researcher Harry Coumnas during his expedition in the Himalayas found a mummified monk in a 1500 years old cave. He made this shocking discovery when he scanned an ancient Chinese statue of a monk, which was 1000 years old. Harry says, “On the outside it looks like a big Buddha statue, but the scanning results on the inside show that it is a mummy of a Buddhist Monk who lived around 1100 years back.”
It is believed that a human skeleton is present inside the golden cast and is of a Buddhist master, a member of Chinese Meditation School. To investigate further, researcher Harry Coumnas took the statue to a Medical Center and carried out an endoscopy and additional CT scans. It is found out that the Buddhist master’s internal organs had been removed. The mummified body is seen sitting on a piece of cloth. And on the cloth Chinese characters are written in Black ink that are difficult of be read.
After further investigation, Harry Coumnas revealed that the Buddhist master sought Buddha-hood through systematic practice. The research also speculates that he self mummified himself in order to become a living Buddha. This kind of research has never been done before and such a discovery has opened some more cords about meditation. Harry is now learning about Buddha-hood, a state free of any obstruction to liberation and omniscience.
