The KiVAKO project, based at Aalto University in Finland, aims to strengthen language education in universities by offering diverse study paths in Chinese, French, and Portuguese. With a focus on real-life challenges and interdisciplinary learning, KiVAKO provides students with essential working life skills. This innovative approach is supported by the government and involves multiple universities, experts, and a substantial budget. Participants engage in tandem learning, educational technology, and digital practices to improve language proficiency. The project also offers unique courses and resources tailored to each language, promoting a dynamic and interactive learning experience. KiVAKO emphasizes the importance of less commonly studied languages and aims to prepare students for the globalized economy by enhancing their language skills. Join us in this exciting journey of linguistic exploration!
