Managing the Manager • Planning: • In order for you to have control over your CSI time you first need to have a plan. • You will need to determine how many hours a week you will dedicate to CSI Business. • You will need to determine how many days a month you will dedicate to CSI Business. • Share your plan with your board and request their feedback. • Respect their time by giving them tasks that have a beginning and an end. Managing the Manager • Preparation: • Prepare your agendas and tasks ahead of time. • Last Minute things always turn out badly and are non-productive. • Be Prepared for Brother Murphy. • Prepare a backup plan. • Lead by example. The Construction Specifications Institute
