"THE MATTER OF ISRAEL"[THE 'WHAT?' AND THE 'WHY?' OF JERUSALEM, THE LAND, GOD AND GOD'S PEOPLE] PST TOKS OSHOKOYA
In these times, when intelligent and logical reasoning's have been made to arise to the position of dominance over simply and firm faith in God's Word, you and I need to be sure of where we stand on every major contemporal matters.
Who will be on the Lord's side? Remember that the number of The Beast, and his mark is "666". MAN (me), MAN (mine) and MAN (myself) See the level of ascendancy that Motivational-Speaking has gotten to? Even to God's Sanctuary - The Pulpit .
Can imagine how much ground entertainments - worldly musical artistees, jesters and stand up comedians, have covered within a short time of being incorporated to church services? • Paul said "...and they will be turned to FABLES..." (Tom and Jerry)
THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE - WRONG SPIRITUAL POSITIONING: • Do you know that it is suicidal to be in the house of God's Enemies when God is throwing His bombs? Claim of ignorance will not spare you.
THE IMPORTANCE OF CORRECT 'TIME-RIGHT' POSITIONING • Your locational positioning on an issue can determine your proximity and susceptibility to God's incidental wrath or God's Mercy.
CASE STUDIES • Case No One: The Antagonistic Positioning of KORAH: Numbers 16:2-3, 6-7, 11-13, 19-21, 24, 26-27, 32-33 KJV • Case No 2: Marching with wrong people - Jehoram & JEHOSHAPHAT: 2 Kings 3:1, 6-7, 9-10, 13-14 KJV • Case No 3: DAVID'S ALMOST DISASTROUS WRONG POSTIONING: 1 Samuel 29:1-4, 11 KJV
REPENTANCE > REFRESHING > RESTORATION > RETURN • Wrong interpretation of Biblical Prophecies can from Men of God who are given grace by God for other areas different from these matters can get you into trouble! • Do not join in throwing "intifada" stones (verbal attacks) against God due to rejection of knowledge! • Do you know where to position Yourself?
Let us meditate, as believers in God through the love of Christ, in 2017, on the following: (Take each ♧ point and contemplate to see if God is speaking to you) • ♧ The statement "Says YOUR God" is talking to WHO?
♧ IS THIS AN ADVICE? OR A DIRECTIVE (A COMMAND)? ♧ The instruction to "Speak comfort to Jerusalem . .. warfare ended ... iniquity pardoned. ..." - is meant for WHO in 2017 to carryout? - when more is this directive to a people that can be told "Says YOUR God" more relevant, appropriate and critical? - do you need to be told to speak comfortable to a People that are in comfort already? No!
♧ "Prepare the way of the Lord" • Why is this message, which was supposed have been fulfilled by John The Baptist staring you and i in the face, now in 2017? • At the time of John, this "prepare the way of the Lord..." was carved out, seemingly deliberately out of context to fit for John The Baptist.
Now in 2017, after the very topical issue of The recent UN Security Council of December 2016, isn't this now more exact and fittingly relevant? • When men are saying "did anything bad ever happened against the Jews?“
They are claiming "Holocaust and Auschwitz never happened! • They are working on erasing the facts away with Arab-Islamic petrol dollars!
They say no 6 million Jews, half a million blacks, 20 million Russians & Poles, 10 million Christians, etc were murdered in cold blood, used for cruel experiments, tortured, gassed, burned, raped, beaten and dehumanised in Germany?
♧ Why did the He, God say "Cry Out"? • Doesn't that imply INSTIGATION towards decisive, desperate, urgent and loud vocal activism? ♧ Why "all flesh is grass"? • Isn't it to remind all that no man or group of people, no matter how seemingly powerful, wealthy and influential politically, can withstand God's Will!
♧ "O Zion, ...You who bring good tidings. .." Seem to be referring to those who would dare take action to • comfort Jerusalem • cry out against the malicious action against Israel • warn the proud oppressors.
Saying "lift your voice. ..be not afraid..." indicates that the period to carryout this work will not be societally friendly! • At such times, the message will be "politically incorrect"! • "Be not afraid...?
♧ "Behold His Reward. ..His Work.." Why link the accomplishment of these DIRECTIVES to: • HIS (GOD's) WORK? • HIS (GOD's) REWARD? ♧ "He will feed His flock. .. • He will gather the lambs. ...carry in His bosom...lead those who are with young (pregnant)"
What would these imply? Could it be that there will be special values, (higher rates of heaven exchange) and fresh grace for those who will be engaged in the work focused on ☆ raising/shepherding a people for this particular work - PASTORS
☆ gathering 'lambs' who will love God and Israel - true teaching EVANGELISTS ☆ gently lead those who are with young - MENTORING FATHERS or LEADERS (pregnant) WHO ARE FOCUSED ON THE PROPHETIC/APOSTOLIC.
I am convinced that God wants His servants to teach and re-condition God's People to know the truths about the raging controversy on Israel (God's firstborn people), the Land, the Palestinians, Arabs and Ultimate plan of Jihadists.
If you, a pastor or knowledgeable leader in the Christian faith do not know nor teach your people these things now, you will think that you right but will ignorantly take 'spiritually strange' "reasonable" positions against God and fight against His people! Then separation will come.
"My people perish because of lack of knowledge” • May we not be grouped with The Abominables due to deliberate ignorance, amen.
THE MATTER OF ISRAEL [THE WHAT? AND THE WHY? ABOUT JERUSALEM, THE LAND AND GOD'S PEOPLE] CONT'D. • Let us re-examine where we are in Time and in Biblical Prophecies. • Before we go ahead, let us deal with the issue of Purpose, Divine Assignments and Success in Ministry briefly.
May we individually answer these questions: • Why are you living as a christian on this earth now? • What "tribe" in the Church - The Body of Christ, do you belong to? • I am speaking metaphorically!
What is your own "tribal" divine assignment at this time, 2017? • Are you from Issachar? • What spiritual nutrients are your own "tribal joint" graced for and expected by God to supply to The Body of Christ?
1 Chron 12: 34 "...of the sons of Issachar who had UNDERSTANDING OF THE TIMES, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;..." • Once that is fully settled, we may progress, while some may check out.
THE PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE Matthew 24: 32 - 34 • “Now learn this parable from the FIG TREE: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. • So you also, WHEN YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS, know that it is near—at the doors! • Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
All major Bible scholars of all time, agree that the Fig Tree is a metaphor for the nation of Israel. • So what is happening to the Fig Tree now? • Let us do a careful analysis of contemporary events and Bible foretold words. • On the 23rd of December 2016, an event occurred that many Christians were not even aware of!
THE REASONS FOR THE SETTLEMENT BY THE ISRAELIS: • Jews who had been living in the West Bank before they were expelled in 1948 wanted to return home. • [57] After the Six-Day War, some Israelis believed that war might break out again. They built settlements on hilltops to act as observation posts for an early warning system.
[58] Israelis were afraid that if strategically important lands were returned, Israelis would be in danger. For years, Syria had been firing from the Golan Heights into the kibbutzim of the valley. • If Syria got back the Golan Heights, they would resume firing on the Israelis below. Israelis remembered that after conquering the Sinai, Israel withdrew from the Sinai.
If Israel constructed a military base, the soldiers could be ordered to leave, but if they created a "settlement on the Syrian heights – a civilian presence, then no one could just order a withdrawal. There'd have to be a debate in the Knesset.”
[59] There were Israelis who remembered that Israel had conquered the Sinai in 1956, but gave it back. "…the promises made by Eisenhower had proved hollow at the first test and had failed to prevent war…”
[60] They were willing to return land, but only if Israel got a peace treaty in return. • They were hoping that building settlements would make it more difficult for Israel to withdraw from land without getting a peace treaty in return. • There were "Religious radicals, convinced that they were fulfilling God's plan for history…”
[61] For Avraham Kook, "the Jews' role was to be the vessel that brings the "divine idea" into the world. • The world's redemption depended on the Jews living in the Land of Israel”
[62] Rabbi Tzvi Kook said…It's "the Lord's land. Is it in our hands to give up even a millimeter?" • The State of Israel represented the "beginning of redemption" and was "the state that the prophets foresaw" when they spoke of the End of Days.
[63] "…the Bible was the Jewish deed to the Land of Israel…" • [64] "…the conquest as introducing the end of days, when 'nation shall not lift up sword against nation.'",
[65] There were secular Israelis who saw "the West Bank as the historic patrimony of the Jewish people and control of this region as a matter of momentous historic importance."
[58] Settlement building as punishment. ¤ "According to reports on Israel Radio, the development is a response to the 2014 kidnapping and murder of Israeli teenagers.“ • [66]Settlements as bargaining chips for negotiations.
THE MATTER OF ISRAEL [THE WHAT? AND THE WHY? ABOUT JERUSALEM, THE LAND AND GOD'S PEOPLE] CONT'D • What has the scriptures reveal? TRACING FROM ABRAHAM - Who owns the Land?
Genesis 12: 1 - 3 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you.
¤ I will make you a great nation; ¤ I will bless you ¤ And make your name great; ¤And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you ¤ all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother's son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of CANAAN.
