  3. Under some of your chairs on yellow sticky notes are some key causation words... Which words do you think match up with the causes on the board? President Truman mentioning the development of the Atomic Bomb at the Potsdam conference in July 1945. The Soviet “liberation” of Eastern Europe between 1944-1945. Russia had become a Communist nation in 1917, with the Bolsheviks being forced to fight for their survival as leaders of the new USSR. Stalin’s decision to put a blockade around Berlin in 1947.
