Introduction • Jolandi Engelbrecht • NGO collecting funds for assisting children who have lost limbs. • Selling, auctioning and raffling art • 2007, appalling conditions of government prosthetic centres • A definite need had arisen to cater for these children and Artists4Amputees was born. • Why art? - Assets and old stock • - Friends and contacts • - Corporate Image (Design) • Vision • Eradicate the stigma of disabilities and assist amputees and artists alike. • Mission • Providing children with prostheses and help them, getting in contact with the right people in order for optimum rehabilitation. After which we want to assist them with upkeep of the prosthesis as well as education in order to enable them to support themselves in the future.

Current Projects Calendar • Next year (2011) • Amputees resuming their normal lives. • Beautiful and encouraging works of art • We require Sponsorship of a particular month in the calendar (e.g. February) • 500 copies will be printed of this calendar • To sponsor a page costs only R4000 – we have shared pages at R1500 a spot • Full page sponsors will be receiving 10 calendars (valued at R1200) • This will benefit your organisation through grand publicity of the calendar. • You receive full advertisement for 30/31 days • As well as having your number available to prospective clients for 365 days
