  2. Describe discussions in terms of behaviors • Describe discussions that went very well or went very poorly in terms of the following • Non verbal Communication Behaviors • Leadership Behaviors • Speech Characteristics • Conveying Interaction-al Justice

  3. Describe discussions in terms of goals • Describe how the supervisor implemented the following goals while giving feedback • Improve performance • Maintain self esteem of subordinate • Minimize aggression/retaliation by subordinate Lizzio et al

  5. Defining performance • Was there a discussion on what is good performance? • If so, how was it defined by the supervisor? by the subordinate? • What were the similarities and differences in each party’s definition
