  5. iTunes Match Highlights: Upload/Download • You can’t choose what to upload. • Stream or download? • Computer: songs stored in iCloud will stream over the air when played, though you can download them by clicking the iCloud download button. • iOS devices: [iOS5] download[iOS6] streaming (default) • Apple TV: only streaming Acer UX/UI Design

  6. iTunes Match Highlights: Delete • PC/MAC: Right-click the item and then choose Delete. You will be asked to confirm this action: “Also delete the item from iCloud?” • iOS Devices: Turn off the "Show All Music" option in the Music Settings.   7. iTunes Match Highlights: Playlist • iTunes Match syncs and displays of your playlists on all the computers/iOS devices. Playlists that contain podcasts, videos, or music videos, they won’t sync (even 1000 songs and one music video). • iTunes can import .m3u format playlist which comes from WMP.   18. iTunes Match UI: Close Up (Cont’d) Delete a song on iPhone ON: All music that has been downloaded or that is stored in iCloud will be shown. OFF: Only music that has been downloaded to this device will be shown. Acer UX/UI Design

  19. iTunes Match UI: Close Up (Cont’d) Deleting a song removes the song from local library plus all of your iTunes Match computers and devices. You still have the option to re-download the song unless you also check the box to delete the song from iCloud. Right click on the song and select Add to iCloud to attempt the upload. Acer UX/UI Design

  20. iTunes Match What Else? (Piracy Issue) • Technically it may be possible for Apple to tell that some of the music in your iTunes library is pirated, but the company has said it won't share any information about users' libraries with 3rd parties. • The music companies will divide the fee with Apple, with the tech firm taking a 30% cut, 12% going to music publishers, and the rest to the labels to divide with their artists.   21. iTunes Match Recap • Add, Rename, Copy/Paste: Just like the way you use in iTunes • Upload: Only unmatched files will be uploaded to iCloud • Media Bridge (Subscribe playlist): N/A • Make Available Offline: on iOS devices (iOS5), any track will be downloaded as play it. Create a playlist in advance with your device and syncing your iOS device is a better way for offline listening. Acer UX/UI Design
