PHP Script Searchability • Two search methods • Specific • Keyword Specific Search • Creates a query based on form inputs to search job postings • Returns relevant results to the user in a table on front end Keyword Search • Uses replacements and split functions to take user inputs and create a query • Returns results containing any common words in the job description Design & Prototype
PHP Script Update Table Information • Analyze content in each form element • Looks for blank elements • Identifies changes • When an element is identified as changed it is appended to a query building variable Mysql Database Interaction • The query building variable is converted to mysql syntax • This mysql query is run through the DB and updates the record Design & Prototype
