Build Future India is a registered Educational and Charitable Trust, a NGO, having like minded volunteer team working for developing Indian rural education systems, reaching out to underprivileged people. We strongly believe that, by extending our physical, intellectual and financial support, we could able to add some value to the above noble cause.

  5. Where are we (India) now in Education? Only 65.4% of Indian population knows how to read and write. 350 millions(35%) of people can’t read and write. In 1000 children 82 of them were sent to hazardous labor jobs due to poverty. 5 Lakhs formal schools for population of 2,390 lakhs. 14% of schools doesn’t have proper building. 38% of schools doesn’t have black board. 30% of schools have only one teacher. 58% of schools doesn’t have drinking water. 70% of children drop out before class ten(10th). .. What is a Model School ? • The School which gives best learning atmosphere for Students and Teachers to grow with inquisitive nature. • The School in which Teachers, Students, Parents, and School Management work together to achieve a common goal. • A school which not only focuses on students academic proficiencies rather on whole growth as a human with high moral values. • A school which has basic infrastructure and amenities fulfilled. • A school which develops caring atmosphere to nature, Empathy to human and service to society. • A school which nurtures vigor and health awareness among students. • The School which sets inspiring atmosphere for other schools to develop.

(Link to News paper) • Why this School? • Among the projects executed by BFI, these school prove the below key prerequisites, • Sustainable Developments • Ownership / responsibility • Social awareness • Overall Team work • Result oriented

What are all we planning to do? • To improve the quality of education • To aim for zero drop-outs from Schools, by making the school as a best place for studies • To develop ideal / Roll model Students (excel in Intellectual and moral education, Sports and physical fitness) • To set a developing and competing atmosphere among the schools • Identify and Implement… • Projects which can be done in-house at school by the school which needs intellectual support from BFI. • Projects which can be done by external parties which needs financial and intellectual support from BFI and others. • Projects which are combination of in-house and external parties which needs both financial and intellectual support from BFI and others.

  13. Estimated budget for Y2011 BFI-Model School Project? Higher Secondary School - 1.5 Lakhs each Middle & Primary School - 1 Lakh each In our vision, we have got 2 Higher Sec., 2 Middle and 1 Primary Schools. So the total budget of 6 Lakhs is required for Y2011

  14. Sustainable development Plan It has been planned to form a self-sustainable schools. Once BFI supported to raise the standard of the school from its present level, It is expected that PTA (Parents, and School Management) will look for local sponsors to sustain the School Standard for a long time.

Roadmap to success of model school • Evaluation of the current status with model template • Arriving SMART goals with the results of model template • Estimate costs for attaining SMART goals • Assign task force and champions for SMART goals • Monitor work plan with improvement plan spreadsheet • Sustain the improvement achieved and continue monitoring
