Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both president were shot on Friday. Both presidents were shot in the head.

Achievements • On june 23,2006 Ranbaxy received from the U.S Food & Drug Administration a 180 days exclusively period to sale (Zocor) in the U.S as a generic drug at 80 mg strength • Ranbaxy generic pharmaceutical market share in its respected market segment grew from 12.2% in 2004 to 13.9 % in 2005. • Ranbaxy received a number of coveted awards from various U.S business organization .

  15. FACT OF THE CASE • .The founder of Ranbaxy Late Bhai Mohan Singh’s elder son Palvinder Singh is dead & Malvinder singh(M.D.) is the son of Late Palvinder Singh. • Currently Mr. Malviender singh Managing director of Ranbaxy laboratories ltd.is the grandson of founder Late Bhai Mohan Singh.

Bhai Mohan Singh’s second son Mr. Manjit Singh is the Sleeping Partner of ‘Ranbaxy Laboratory Ltd’. • In the year 1990 Manjit Singh’s Financial position was not good, so he borrowed 14 cr. & Shares of 30 Companies from his father Late Bhai Mohan Singh • Mr. Analjit singh who is the younger son of Late Bhai Mohan Singh, has established his own company named as “Max Healthcare Ltd”. • Mr. Analjit singh has established ‘Max Healthcare Ltd’ through Ranbaxy only.

  17. Cases filed by family members • From past 15 years I,e from 1990 onwords Ranbaxy family members filed 33 cases on each other. Which included :- • On 4th July Mr.Analjit filed a defamation complaint in DELHI HIGH COURT against his brother’s wife & nephew. • On 10th July Nimmi Singh said that they had not received any complaint or Notice so they were not able to comment.

  18. On 13th July Nimmi Singh along with his two son’s filed case against Mr.Analjit Singh of Criminal intimidation. • On 15th July Nimmi Singh & Analjit singh withdrawn the case by mutual understanding.

  19. It was almost over…………. But Suddenly…………….

  20. On 17th July Manjit Singh filed case against his younger brother Analjit singh & his sister- in- law Nimmi Singh for not considering him in the property distribution.

  21. Impact of dispute on business • Though the dispute has nothing to do the Ranbaxy Laboratories & its functioning dealers said the dispute in the family has raised doubt among investors on the stature of the business. • A recent report by a foreign brokerage firm also has urged investors to dump Ranbaxy in favour of Dr Reddy’s in pharma space,dealers .

  22. Family Verdict • On 31st July 2006 Ranbaxy chief Mr. Malvinder Singh & Max Healthcare Chairman Mr. Analjit Singh jointly said they have reached a settlement on the will of Ranbaxy founder Bhai Mohan Singh & decided to withdraw all cases against each other.

  23. Current financial Position • After the settlement of dispute Ranbaxy’s global sales went up at 14,464, records 7% growth in net profit.

  24. Conclusion So the govt. should come forward and sort out the issue on legal ground. Alternatively the responsible member of Ranbaxy family should come together and solve the matter, so the Ranbaxy family members will be able to live peacefully.

  25. If unfortunately neither of this takes place the quarrel will continue and many more tragic consequences will come out.
