  1. ITPA – CDBMH-mode threshold databaseDatabase statusApril 2005 - Kyoto Yves Martin Centre de Recherches en Physique des Plasmas Association Euratom - Confédération Suisse Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne CH - 1015 Lausanne, Switzerland

  2. Threshold database • Work on the DB since last meeting • DB used for IAEA paper: IGDBTH4v4 • New data from F.Ryter for AUG • An error on PABS was identified (PL and PLTH were OK) • New data set (remaining problem with date and Te) • New data from S.Kaye for NSTX • 4 additional shots • Analysis redone • See next talk

  3. New threshold DB • New data => new version of DB: IGDBTH4v5 • First preliminary version on 10.02.05 (AUG update only) • A.Meakins mentioned errors: missing JET data • Checks seem OK ... • New version (with NSTX) on the server on 13.04.05 • But ... errors still present ... do not use it (4 variables shifted by 2 samples) • New version will be on the server as soon as possible • ITER data • 2 entries (with 2 densities) were introduced in the DB

  4. DB status • Number of samples • ASDEX 600 0.07813 • AUG 636 0.08281 • CMOD 1227 0.15977 • COMPASS 46 0.00599 • D3D 752 0.09792 • ITER 2 0.00026 • JET 3111 0.40508 • JFT2M 1013 0.13190 • JT60U 109 0.01419 • MAST 20 0.00260 • NSTX 13 0.00169 • PBXM 5 0.00065 • TCV 131 0.01706 • TUMAN-3M 15 0.00195 • Total 7680

  5. Analysis with Threshold Database • On going analysis: • Analysis/comparison Bout / Rmm • Low density - Zeff • Dimensionally constrained • PL for ITER - prediction at different densities (not only 5.1019) • Other analysis - after other presentations ...

  6. Data submission • Steps to submit data to the database (or to upload a new version...) • Work on the DB (JMP) • Prepare ODBC data source (adm.tools) • Authentification (Netscape, Skey) • Tunnelling (SSH secure shell client) • Upload DB (SQL enterprise manager) • I do accept other formats • JMP (SAS), Excell • but • Variable names should be correct • Upper/lower case as in the DB
